This gives you the taste of coffee without the caffeine hit for those who fancy a light coffee in the evening but go to sleep at a reasonable time.

Dreamliner Decaf

£14.50

Origin

Cafe Lumbus Decaf, Colombia

Sourced through a direct trade relationship with Café Lumbus in Ciudad Bolívar, Antioquia, this coffee is grown at 1,500–1,700 metres above sea level. Using Caturra, Colombia and Castillo varietals and a washed process, it reflects the quality and consistency Antioquia is known for. This is our first direct trade decaf from Café Lumbus, whose coffee-growing heritage spans over a century and is built on long-term, sustainable partnerships.

The Roast & Method

Roasted Medium

Roasted to a medium level, this decaf performs beautifully as an espresso and works equally well for filter brewing. A true all-day coffee that delivers flavour without compromise — whether enjoyed black or with milk.

This coffee uses the sugar cane ethyl acetate (E.A.) method, often referred to as natural decaffeination. The beans are gently steamed and then washed with ethyl acetate derived from sugar cane fermentation, removing caffeine while preserving sweetness, body and complexity.
