Flight Plan Competitions
1. Promoter
The promoter is Jet Bean Coffee Limited (“Jet Bean”, “we”, “us”, “our”), registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 136 Essex Road, London, England, N1 8LX. Company number: 16356738.
Jet Bean acts solely as a promoter of the prize draw and associated experiences.
2. Eligibility
2.1 The prize draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over.
2.2 Employees of Jet Bean Coffee Limited and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
2.3 Proof of age and UK residency may be required.
2.4 The prize draw is not open to residents outside the United Kingdom.
3. How to Enter
There are two equal methods of entry. No purchase is necessary.
Route A – Automatic Entry (Subscribers)
3.1 All active Jet Bean Flight Plan subscribers during the relevant calendar month will automatically receive one entry into that month’s prize draw.
3.2 A subscriber is considered active if their subscription is live and not cancelled at the time of the draw.
3.3 Subscribers will receive one entry per month regardless of subscription value or number of deliveries.
Route B – Free Entry (WhatsApp Entry Route)
3.4 To enter for free, entrants must send a WhatsApp message to 07883 810044 during the relevant calendar month including:
- Full name
- Email address
- Postcode
- The words: “Jet Bean Monthly Draw Entry”
3.5 Only one free entry per person per calendar month is permitted.
3.6 Entries must be received before 23:59 on the final day of each calendar month.
3.7 WhatsApp entries are free aside from standard data charges imposed by the entrant’s mobile provider.
3.8 Free entrants have an equal chance of winning as subscribers.
4. Entry Conditions
4.1 Only one entry per person per month is permitted, regardless of entry route.
4.2 Duplicate entries may be removed.
4.3 Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or received outside the relevant period will not be valid.
5. The Prize
5.1 Each month, one winner will receive a Jet Bean aviation experience prize.
5.2 Prizes may include (but are not limited to):
- Airline simulator sessions (e.g., A320 or 737 simulator experience)
- Flight lessons with a UK flight school partner
- Private Jet Bean roastery tours
5.3 The specific prize for each month will be announced on the Jet Bean website.
5.4 Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.
5.5 Travel expenses, accommodation, and any additional costs are not included unless explicitly stated.
5.6 Experiences are subject to availability and provider terms.
6. Aviation Experiences & Third-Party Providers
6.1 Aviation-related prizes (including but not limited to flight lessons, pleasure flights, and simulator sessions) are delivered by independent third-party providers (“Licensed Partners”).
6.2 Where applicable, these providers are regulated by the Civil Aviation Authority or equivalent authority.
6.3 Licensed Partners are solely responsible for:
- The safe operation of aircraft and equipment
- Compliance with all applicable aviation laws and regulations
- Instructor qualifications and training standards
- Insurance coverage for the experience
- Risk assessments and safety procedures
6.4 All aviation experiences are subject to the Licensed Partner’s own terms and conditions, operational requirements, and safety restrictions.
7. Role & Responsibility of Jet Bean
7.1 Jet Bean’s role is limited to:
- Promoting and administering the prize draw
- Selecting winners
- Facilitating introduction between the winner and the Licensed Partner
7.2 Jet Bean does not:
- Operate aircraft or simulators
- Provide flight instruction
- Control or supervise the delivery of the experience
7.3 Jet Bean shall not be liable for:
- The performance, safety, or execution of the experience
- Any injury, loss, delay, or damage arising from participation in the prize
8. Winner Requirements
8.1 Winners must comply with all instructions provided by the Licensed Partner.
8.2 Winners must meet any applicable requirements, including but not limited to:
- Age restrictions
- Weight or height limits
- Medical or fitness requirements
8.3 Winners may be required to:
- Sign a waiver or release of liability with the Licensed Partner
- Acknowledge the inherent risks associated with aviation activities
8.4 Failure to meet these requirements may result in the prize being forfeited.
9. Booking, Availability & Safety
9.1 All experiences are subject to availability.
9.2 Bookings must be arranged directly with the Licensed Partner unless otherwise specified.
9.3 Experiences may be:
- Rescheduled due to weather, technical, or operational reasons
- Cancelled at the discretion of the Licensed Partner for safety reasons
9.4 All safety decisions are final and made solely by the Licensed Partner.
Jet Bean accepts no responsibility for changes, delays, or cancellations relating to the experience.
10. Winner Selection
10.1 Winners will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the relevant calendar month.
10.2 The draw will take place within 7 days of the end of each month.
10.3 The winner will be contacted via email or phone within 7 days of the draw.
10.4 If the winner does not respond within 7 days, Jet Bean reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
11. Publicity
11.1 By entering, entrants agree that Jet Bean may request to use the winner’s first name and general location for announcement purposes.
11.2 Winners may be invited (but are not obliged) to participate in promotional activity, including photography and video.
12. Data Protection
12.1 Personal data will be processed in accordance with UK data protection legislation and Jet Bean’s Privacy Policy.
12.2 Data will be used solely for administering the prize draw unless the entrant has opted in to marketing communications.
13. Liability Limitation
13.1 To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of the United Kingdom:
- Jet Bean shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss
- Jet Bean does not accept responsibility for the acts or omissions of Licensed Partners
13.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it cannot legally be excluded, including liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
14. Independent Providers
All Licensed Partners operate as independent contractors.
Nothing in this promotion creates any partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between Jet Bean and any Licensed Partner.
15. General
15.1 This prize draw is a free prize draw and does not constitute a lottery under the Gambling Act 2005.
15.2 A free entry route is available and no purchase is necessary.
15.3 Jet Bean reserves the right to amend or withdraw the prize draw in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
15.4 Jet Bean’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
15.5 These Terms & Conditions and any disputes arising in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, and participants agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the UK courts.
Jet Bean Rewards Programme Terms & Conditions
Jet Points and rewards have no cash value and can only be redeemed through the Jet Bean Coffee website using the redemption method provided at checkout.
Jet Bean Coffee reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the Jet Bean Rewards Programme at any time without prior notice. In the event that the programme is discontinued, any unused Jet Points, rewards, or tier benefits may be cancelled.
If Jet Points or rewards are issued, redeemed, or applied in error, Jet Bean Coffee reserves the right to reverse the transaction and adjust the customer's account accordingly.
Rewards accounts are linked to the customer's registered email address, and only one rewards account is permitted per individual. Jet Points, rewards, referral credits, and tier benefits are non-transferable and cannot be shared, sold, or exchanged between customers.
Tier status is reviewed annually based on the anniversary of your enrolment in the Jet Bean Rewards Programme. To maintain or progress through membership tiers, customers must re-qualify each year by earning the required number of Jet Points.
Jet Points will expire after 365 days of account inactivity. Inactivity is defined as no qualifying purchases being made during this period. Where possible, reminder emails will be sent before points expire.
Rewards are available to retail customers only and are not available on wholesale, trade, or distributor accounts unless otherwise stated.
Participation in the Jet Bean Rewards Programme is subject to these terms and any additional promotional terms that may apply from time to time.
