UK Airshows 2026: Full Calendar of Airshows & Flying Displays

UK Airshows 2026: Full Calendar of Airshows & Flying Displays

There is nothing quite like a British airshow.

The smell of cut grass, the sound of a Merlin engine, the Red Arrows disappearing into the clouds, a coffee in your hand (Jet Bean if you're coming to Rochester on the 1st August), and everyone looking up at exactly the same moment.

If you are planning the rest of your summer around aviation, this is our Jet Bean guide to the UK airshows 2026 calendar for the rest of the year. We have included the major airshows, seaside displays, fly-ins, military events, aviation festivals and classic “wings and wheels” style events still to come.

Dates and display line-ups can change because of weather, aircraft serviceability, permissions and organiser updates, so always check the official event website before booking travel.

Which UK airshow should you go to in 2026?

If you want a big seaside atmosphere, look at Eastbourne Airbourne, Blackpool Airshow, Clacton Airshow, Southport Air Show, Wales Airshow or Ayr Festival of Flight.

If you love warbirds and historic aircraft, put Duxford, Shuttleworth, Aero Legends Battle of Britain Airshow, East Kirkby, Old Buckenham and Little Gransden on your list.

If you prefer a smaller airfield atmosphere, look at Rochester Airport Family Fun Day and Air Display, Stow Maries, Compton Abbas, Shobdon, Henstridge or Sleap.

And if you are the sort of person who plans a weekend around aircraft, cars and coffee, the “wings and wheels” style events are always worth a look.

What to take to a UK airshow

A proper airshow day is long, loud and usually very British in the weather department. Our checklist:

  • Tickets or booking confirmation

  • Sunglasses

  • Waterproof jacket

  • Ear defenders for children

  • Portable phone charger

  • Camping chair or picnic blanket

  • Water bottle

  • Camera or binoculars

  • A bag of decent coffee for the morning drive

Obviously, we are biased on the last one.

If you are heading to an airshow this year, take a look at our aviation coffee collection. Every Jet Bean coffee is inspired by aircraft, flying and the people who love aviation.

Final note before you travel

Airshow dates, display aircraft and flying times can change at short notice. Weather, aircraft serviceability, CAA permissions and operational commitments can all affect the schedule.

Use this UK airshows 2026 guide as your starting point, then check the official event website before you book hotels, buy tickets or travel.

See you by the flightline.
