How to Brew Coffee with a V60 Dripper

Unlock delicate aromas and layered flavours with the V60 pour-over method. Our guide takes you through each step – from the perfect water temperature to precise pouring techniques – so you can enjoy clean, bright cups of Jet Bean Coffee every time.

Equipment:

  • V60 dripper
  • V60 paper filter
  • Gooseneck kettle
  • Scale
  • Timer
  • Coffee grinder

Recipe:

  • Coffee: 15g (medium grind)
  • Water: 250g at 93–96°C

Steps:

  1. Place the filter in the V60 and rinse with hot water. Discard the rinse water.
  2. Add ground coffee to the filter.
  3. Start timer and pour 50g of water to bloom for 30 seconds.
  4. Continue pouring in slow circles until you reach 250g by 2:30–3:00 minutes.
  5. Allow the water to drain completely.
  6. Serve and enjoy.
